Special department traces preparation of attempts on Stalin, but Kazarin gets to understand his daughter was the aim. Tanya's sent to a war front as a correspondent. While traveling with Vasya Stalin in his car, they get under shots of a German fighter jet. The driver dies, Tanya and Vasya miraculously survive.
