T7, E16: Today is an extra special day, because Australian cooking icon and matriarch of the MasterChef family Maggie Beerjoins the contestants in the MasterChef Kitchen. There are Mystery Boxes on the bench but Maggie’s Mystery Box doesn’t consist of the usual ingredients; instead it contains a pair of gardening gloves, secateurs and a trowel. These tools are to help the contestants harvest herbs, fruit and vegetables from the garden within their 60 minute timeframe to produce a delicious tasting dish.
