Hell on Wheels

S2, E4: Remember when hitting the road meant flirting with disaster? From rumble seats that turned passengers into projectiles, to scorching cigarette lighters built right into the dash, to cars that had a nasty habit of going up in flames, even a simple trip could quickly go south. These are the bright ideas and questionable designs that turned our daily commute into a demolition derby. It's a high-speed, white-knuckle ride back to a time when the rules of the road were still being written...and safety was an afterthought.
