S3, E1: There really is no more iconic battlefield in Canadian History than Juno Beach. The landings on D-Day on June 6th, 1944 define the courage and sacrifice of our troops during WW2. The images remain with us of those brave young men who faced strong German forces as the ramps of the landing crafts dropped and the battle of Normandy began.
