Just Another Polish Wedding

T3, E17: Composer-singer Isaac Hayes, who won an Oscar in 1971 for the theme song from 'Shaft," will make his second guest-star appearance as ex-con Gandy Fitch, one half of a team of private detectives competing with Rockford on a finder's fee case. Guest star Lou Gossett plays Marcus Hayes, the other half of the team. Fitch reminds Rockford of their time in prison together prior to Rockford's pardon. When Fitch mentions that he wants to get into detective work, Rockford steers him to his former parole officer-turned investigator, Marcus Hayes. Fitch inadvertently reveals Rockford's efforts to find a missing heir, and Hayes decides to use Fitch for his own purposes.
