Naughty Spud

S1, E11: Whilst building a new shed for Travis, Bob is left 'stranded' when naughty Spud takes Bob's ladder to go apple picking. When Bob realises the ladder has gone he tries to get Dizzy's attention but as usual she is humming away to her walkman. He tries to phone Wendy but drops the phone which falls to the ground. Luckily Bob sees Muck and sends him back to the yard for his other ladder. In his haste Muck forgets the ladder won't go sideways through the yard gates. It snaps in two. In the end it's Wendy who comes to the rescue, taking Lofty the crane back to help Bob. The thief returns clutching his stomach - Spud has eaten too many apples and deeply regrets ever taking the ladder. Later on in the evening when Travis is tucked up in his shed, a cold Spud asks if he can join him. Travis says he can as long as he doesn't mind sleeping with a big pile of apples. Spud groans in horror and runs off into the night.
