Operation: Annihilate!

T1, E29: Kirk's brother, his wife, and much of the Deneva colony are found dead from a mysterious epidemic of mass insanity. Spock too becomes infected but survives with Vulcan techniques until he is blinded by the cure McCoy tests on him.
