M1, T1: When a frozen body is identified as missing 13-year-old Katie Pine, Det. John Cardinal (Billy Campbell) is brought back onto the case. Cardinal never bought the assumption that Katie ran away, and was demoted for his dogged insistence they keep searching for her.
