S1, E2: Based on the true story of Joyce Lukezic, a wife and mother from Arizona who was accused of plotting a grisly triple-homicide in 1980. Upon her incarceration, Joyce must dig deep to persevere against imposing inmates, her increasingly apathetic husband, separation from her children, and a prosecutor who wants nothing more than to facilitate a quick and clear-cut verdict.
