S1, E1: In the series premiere, Ethan's fiancée leaves him, declaring that she can't deal with his dramatic, overeager expressions of love. Impressed by Lina's defense of Ethan, Richie makes a connection with Lina and ends up leaving the party with her. Kyle apologizes to the still-furious Holly for a traumatic post-prom experience from their school days. Kat awkwardly attempts the cheer up the devastated Ethan after all the guests have left. And Duncan and Nicole find themselves renewing their long-dormant attraction.
