S1, E3: Shougo equips his Bone with the three young men Antonio, Luke, and Tyrone. By demonstrating that he can equip Dragon Bone with his own will, Shougo has proven himself a chosen warrior. Shougo doesn't understand what's going on, but Luke explains to him that Dark Bone is trying to steal the Bones of Earth, and if all the Bones are stolen, there is a chance that the Earth could be destroyed.
