M2, T9: Borderline-alcoholic Dave Farrow lives at home and in the shadow of his older brother Stevie. When a drunken accident lands him in the hospital, he meets a nurse, Ruth, and the two begin dating. But when Dave's drinking habits come to light, Ruth's own history with her alcoholic father causes her to doubt the relationship.
