Their best hope is Alvey's son Nate, who is preparing for a pivotal fight that could propel him, and the gym, into the big leagues. When Lisa's ex-boyfriend and former MMA champion, Ryan Wheeler, unexpectedly shows up, it complicates their lives -- personally and professionally. Jay, Alvey's oldest son, is on the outs with his father. Years of resentment have built up over Alvey's treatment of the boys' mother, Christina.
