Skippy and the Runaway

S1, E14: Lou and Skippy find evidence of animal traps in the National Park near Habitat. Somebody is living in the park, and that’s not allowed. But Lou’s desire to catch the wrongdoer turns to sympathy when she meets him - 13 year-old Jim, who has been unhappy on his parents’ farm because he feels that his parents look on him as the dumb one of his family. He has an older brother and sister who are academically smarter and who are pursuing careers in the city. But Kim’s story has a reassuring turn in it. In spite of Lou’s attempts to hide him, he is found by Ranger Dave, and sent back to his family. And to his surprise his Dad welcomes him home because he’s the o!nly one in the family who’d like to run the farm - the others don’t want to know about it. Jim, no longer a runaway, is reunited with his parents.
