S1, E8: Homesick for his own planet, Ax uses a high-powered telescope to contact his father, and becomes hurt and upset when he blames him for entrusting the Animorphs with the Andalite power to morph. Ax tries to hide his feelings, but soon learns that he must trust the Animorphs if they are to fight together against the Yeerks.
