S1, E23: A lady bail bondsman and an urban mercenary compete with police in pursuit of an alleged killer, as "Bounty Hunter." A man jumps bail to escape prison and a bounty hunter immediately follows his trail. The alleged murderer has threatened to kill those who testified against him in preliminary hearings, so time is precious. Starsky and Hutch join the search, but each failure to catch the suspect leaves them without clues and wondering if, in fact, the man actually exists. They are shot at, a witness is murdered, and buildings are burned -- yet only the bounty hunter seems to have the inside track in the case.
