Even Rachel, the first to volunteer for every mission, is thinking about moving away to live with her dad for a while. As if in answer to their thoughts, an omniscient alien, the Ellimist, shows the Animorphs the probable future – complete Yeerk domination of the Earth. The Ellimist offers the kids and their families refuge on another planet so they will be safe if Earth is taken over.
