Thin Ice

S3, E8: At the Ice Airports, the wide variety of flight destinations is matched only by the cargo that comes in from the Lower 48 and abroad. In this episode, a float plane pilot struggles to reach an isolated homesteader who’s running out of supplies, and a chopper pilot battles violent winds and fog to bring adrenaline junkies on the ultimate ski adventure. Meanwhile, a cargo handler races to deliver urgent medical supplies that have just arrived from Seattle, and customs and border protection officers uncover an international jewel smuggling ring.
