Twice Upon a Time, Pt. 1

S2, E20: Sarah is having doubts about going on her first date with Michael Simpson to the school dance. Then Gwendolyn Pierce, Charles' old girlfriend, arrives and meets Jamie, Sarah and Adam. She explains her family moved to California, and she broke up with Charles to attend school near her family. Charles is elated to be with her and plans a fun-filled week so she won't want to leave. Gwendolyn asks Buddy if Charles has been dating, as she is seeing someone very special in California -- Richard. Buddy becomes upset and asks why she is visiting Charles, and she explains to confirm whether she loves him...since Richard asked her to marry him and Charles has not.
