M13, T8: A man is found in Central Park, dead from a snapped neck. With no identification, it takes awhile to figure out who he is, but through unique tattoos they are able to identify him as Norman Pratt, a limo driver. Norman's last customer was Kevin Seleeby (Reynaldo Rosales), a star major-league baseball player, who is questioned by Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin). Kevin says he went to Atlantic City with his agent and cousin and returned around midnight. He has no idea what happened to Norman after that. Norman also offered Kevin "anything he needed," which turns out to be anabolic steroids; he procured from a chemist friend. The detectives now realize the ballplayer, whom they are enamored with, may now have an "*" next to his name in the record books if all this plays out.
