But now after a multi-million dollar renovation, Gayle is ready to step out of Danny's shadow and run the salon her way. She's ready to take the Gatsby to the next level--complete with a fresh new staff! After extensive interviews and auditions, the new team is formed, including established stylist Anthony, sweetheart hairdresser Gigi, top bridal make-up artist Alexa, ditzy-yet-lovable assistant makeup artist Olivia, and Olivia's rival, Tracy, an aggressive up-and-coming stylist who will do whatever it takes to push Olivia's buttons.
