The Package

A career Army sergeant, Gallagher (Gene Hackman) is assigned to transport a prisoner from Berlin to Washington, D.C. When his prisoner (Tommy Lee Jones) escapes, he finds himself in the middle of a deadly conspiracy with masterminds who want him well out of their way. It appears he has gotten himself into far more than he had bargained for, mixed up in an assassination plot of a very high-ranking world figure in order to sabotage arms control talks.
