Yoon Young (Hong Ye Ji), a 19-year-old high schooler living with her mute mother Kyung Sook (Kim Ji Young), accidentally kills a man attempting to sexually assault her. Sentenced to an adult prison and assigned the number 2037, she faces a challenging incarceration. Despite the harsh prison environment, Yoon Young forms unexpected bonds with her diverse cellmates, including Jung Mi (Jun So Min), the last woman in South Korea convicted of adultery, and other inmates ranging from fraudsters to those awaiting the death penalty. These women surprisingly support Yoon Young, helping her navigate the brutal realities of prison life. This is a 2022 South Korean movie written and directed by Mo Hong Jin.
