9/11 The Falling Man

It's one of the most unforgettable images from September 11th - a photograph of a man falling, frozen in mid air, his body perfectly parallel with the twin towers, the World Trade Center. The photo ran in newspapers across the world as a defining image of the day. But then it was quickly airbrushed out of history. Why?
