Kishan Lal (Pran), a driver working for a smuggler, Robert (Jeevan), is on the run from the police and leaves his three sons in a park. All of them are raised separately - the eldest becomes a Hindu police officer (Vinod Khanna), the youngest becomes a Muslim tailor (Rishi Kapoor) and the middle son becomes a Christian hooligan (Amitabh Bachchan). Will they be united again?
