When In Soo (Bae Yong Joon) receives news that his wife, Su Jin (Lim Sang Hyo), has been critically injured in a car accident, he rushes to the hospital. There, he meets Seo Young (Son Ye Jin), who is similarly caring for her unconscious husband, Kyung Ho (Ryu Seung Soo). As they spend time together, they discover their spouses were having an affair together at the time of the accident. Sharing their pain of betrayal, In Soo and Seo Young find solace and unexpected comfort in each other, gradually developing a deep connection. Their fragile new relationship is challenged when Su Jin unexpectedly regains consciousness, forcing In Soo to confront an impossible emotional dilemma.
