Bank teller Sebastian (Matthias Schweighöfer) lives a boring and lonely life in Munich in ARMY OF THIEVES until one day his never-watched YouTube videos about cracking safes earn him an invitation to an underground contest. After he wins the contest, a beautiful woman, Gwen (Nathalie Emmanuel), pays him a visit and entices him to join her motely gang of bank robbers in the heist of the century: cracking four legendary safes. In her crew are tough guy Brad (Stuart Martin), hacker Korinna (Ruby O. Fee), and getaway driver Rolph (Guz Khan). As they make their way across European cities to find and crack the safes, they're hunted by bumbling Interpol agents Delacroix (Jonathan Cohen) and Beatrix (Noemie Nakai).
