Art and the Cold War
This documentary explores the complex relationship between independent Soviet art and the West, when art could seem larger than life itself. On one side were underground artists with little freedom or money; on the other, the alluring West, whose diplomats and collectors took an active interest in art forbidden by the Soviet system.
