BB is a provocative thriller about a struggling, rough-edged girl named Leah Lamont (Jennifer Mae) who takes it upon herself to raise the money her girlfriend Alina Lupei (Victoria Fox) needs to find to fly home to be with her ailing family member in Romania. The story picks up with Leah interviewing for the “Madam” of a web-cam company which features a roster of girls who perform online shows from their homes and apartment for countless voyeurs every day to earn cash tips. Her channel becomes a quick hit with the site’s fan-base of voyeurs and within a month, she’s earned enough to be able to catch up on bills and surprise Alina on her birthday with a first-class ticket to her family in Romania. Alone and anonymous, Leah continues to broadcast during Alina’s absence for the thousands of strangers every day, never fully knowing exactly who might be watching on the other side of the screen.
