Beyond the Dream

Beyond the Dream documents the journey of Daniel Valdez, Luis Martinez and a group of students who participated in Daniel and Luis's college prep program, Undergrads College Mindset, in 2018. This inspiring story shows how passionate teachers can inspire their students to achieve more than they ever thought possible. Beginning with classroom exercises in etiquette, team building and communication, the two teach their students how to be effective communicators and advocates for themselves in preparation for the journey. As the students fly to the east coast and experience all the opportunities available at the top-notch Ivy League schools, they learn a bit about themselves and which schools could be a good fit for them.
