When a photographer and his daughter travel to the wilds of Africa, the girl faces certain death until rescued by Bomba, the Jungle Boy. Young Pat Harland (Peggy Ann Garner) becomes separated from her father (Onslow Stevens), who has come to photograph the unexplored jungle, but she is rescued by Bomba (Johnny Sheffield--Tarzan films). Now, the two must overcome forest fires, a plague of locusts and vicious wild animals to find their way back to Pat's father.
