Borderline Funny

A Canadian stand-up comic heading to the U.S. for a comedy tour is detained at the Niagara Falls border when political jokes on his phone attract the attention of authorities. Sent first to an ICE detention center in Louisiana and later to El Salvador's notorious CECOT prison, he refuses to stop performing. His rebellious comedy gets him exiled to a remote jungle village, where an unexpected romance forces him to rethink his life, career, and freedom.
