Casa de Lava
A Portuguese nurse named Mariana (Inês Medeiro) hopes to escape the bleakness of her own life by accompanying an injured immigrant worker back to the Cape Verde islands. Gradually, however, her encounters with the locals begin to have an oppressive effect on her.
