During the corrupt reign of the Roman Emperor Nero, Senator Quintillius searches the outer regions of the empire for the Ihracian treasure. The gladiator Spartacus foils the corrupt senator's quest for riches and power, helping a royal Roman legion defeat a battalion under Quintillius' command.
