Chasing Sleep

Ed Saxon has been married for the past twenty years with barely a hitch, but tonight his wife has not returned home. After a restless night, he decides to call the police at dawn and alert them of her possible disappearance. An investigation gets underway revealing some unsettling news for Ed. He begins to learn how unhappy his wife has been with him. Perhaps he preferred to ignore the glaring reality. For inspector Derm, his wife's lover is number one on his suspect list. But he's not the only one. Each new visitor becomes a suspect in Ed's eyes. One of them is the strange psychiatrist who claims to have come to help Ed overcome the pain. And now that Eve is absent, her presence has never been so resonant in the house.
