Dakota War Chase

In 1863, U.S. troops relentlessly pursued Dakota warriors into South Dakota. This pursuit was part of the intense and gripping Dakota War of 1862, an armed conflict between the United States and several eastern bands of Dakota, known collectively as the Santee Sioux.
