Valentine, a New York actor, inherits a 'dacha' on a garden allotment in East Germany and goes to spend the summer there. In its attic he finds Adam, a refugee hiding from deportation. Valentine promises to keep Adam's secret but the arrival of some couchsurfers and a nosy neighbour put their flat share to the test. A summer fairytale about friendships across borders and garden fences.
