Dynamic and successful criminal lawyer Raj (Akshaye Khanna), thinks he has it all figured out. He is equally committed in punishing guilty as he is in protecting the rights of an innocent. His involvement in his work is complete, ruling out any inclination of falling in love. But all this changes when he meets Sargam (Urmila Matondkar), a beautiful and popular singer. Through her, Raj comes across Tarang (Ajay Devgan), a talented musician with a brilliant mind. He is Sargam’s childhood friend and mentor, but is a victim of circumstance, caught red handed at the scene of brutal and heinous murder. Sargam believes in Tarang’s innocence and requests Raj to defend him. Raj’s investigation bring him close to Tarang. Before he realizes it, Raj gets entangled in a mystery more dangerous than anyone can imagine. Will Raj be successful in unraveling the mystery?
