Don Verdean

Sam Rockwell stars as self-proclaimed biblical archeologist Don Verdean in this satirical comedy from the creators of “Napoleon Dynamite” and “Nacho Libre.” Hired by a local church to find religious relics to boost church attendance, Don ventures to the Holy Land in search of the skull of Goliath. When Don’s efforts to find the skull prove unsuccessful, he devises a clever forgery to fool the faithful masses. But one big lie begets another, and Don’s hoax quickly spirals out of control. The star-studded ensemble cast includes Amy Ryan, Jemaine Clement, Leslie Bibb, Will Forte, and Danny McBride.
