After her escape attempt fails, she is captured by the General, who agrees to sleep separately. As her cousin Bei Jin (Wen Meng Yang) tries to seduce him, Bai Yi remains honorable. When mysterious demons, including a powerful fox spirit who possesses a young woman, threaten the realm, the Princess finds herself in mortal danger, with only Bai Yi capable of saving her from a terrible fate.
