A lone sheriff, tasked with watching over the vast lands and valleys of Brada County, is confronted with an environmental aberration, as well as reports of a mysterious animal roaming the surrounding farmlands.As this situation worsens, the sheriff's two children grow more curious of this mysterious creature, especially when a local couple seemingly disappears from a county football game. With the assistance of an environmental consultant and the mayor of the nearby town of Sombra Hollow, the sheriff races to discover the mystery of the animal that stalks the countryside, before more towns folk, or the sheriff's children, venture further into harm's way.
