Marta, a designer, embarks on a trip to Oaxaca for research. Her perception of reality and self changes as she immerses herself in the world of the muxes, a collective fighting for gender recognition in society while battling their own passions, traumas, and hidden emotions. An unexpected earthquake shakes the community's emotions, leading Marta and the audience to uncover the source of her turmoil.
