Gaslight

The original screen adaptation of the Patrick Hamilton play stars Anton Walbrook ("The Red Shoes") as a calculating husband who attempts to make his wife think she is going insane so that he can locate her hidden family jewels. Oscar-nominee Diana Wynyard ("Cavalcade") is his turn-of-the-century bride who moves into the house where her aunt was murdered and begins to fear she's going mad.
