Based on a true story, this TV movie centers on the case of Lenell Geter (Dorian Harewood), a Texan who was sentenced to life in prison based on a dubious evidence. Chosen for a police lineup, seemingly at random, Geter is identified as the perpetrator of an armed robbery. Even after several eyewitnesses testify on his behalf, he is convicted of the crime, all the while believing he'll soon be freed. His nightmare continues until an investigative news report exposes the miscarriage of justice.
