Harley

“I save people”. This is what Harley, a successful, long-haired criminal defense attorney, tells people walking through the door of his opulent office in a gang-infested neighborhood of Paterson, New Jersey. On the outside, Harley is a confident, brash, Ferrari-driving lawyer, who relishes taking the side of the underdog in court. On the inside, he is a lonely, overweight, middle-aged man living with his mother. He is still deeply scarred by the bully who antagonized him in high school.One day, Harley meets the woman of his dreams online. She is 20 years younger than him and engaged. To conquer her, he embarks on a quest to prove to her that he can be a better man than her boyfriend. Inspired by his childhood hero Rocky Balboa, he decides to get in shape for an underground MMA fight in Brazil against a much younger fighter than him. The day Harley steps into the ring, still overweight and alone, he hopes he is 3 rounds away from wooing the woman and regaining his self-respect.
