Former politician Joo Sang Sook (Ra Mi Ran) seems to be down on her luck once again: after losing (and re-gaining) her ability to lie, her release from prison, and a failed attempt to join the Seoul mayoral election, she has no idea what to do with herself. She moves to Gangwon Province with the intent to become a seafood diver, after saving someone trapped in a sinking vehicle, Sang Sook is subsequently named governor of Gangwon. Things seem to be looking up – until she's once again cursed with the inability to tell lies, and this time, her aide Park Hee Cheol (Kim Moo Yul) is affected, too. While she struggles with her compulsion to tell the truth, she's also gained a legion of supporters who are fed up with corruption in political office. Will she manage to achieve her political dreams this time? This is the sequel to the 2020 film "Honest Candidate."
