Lithuania, 1948. War is over, but the country is in ruins. 19-year-old Untė is a member of the Partisan movement resisting Soviet occupation. With freedom and independence hanging in the balance, Untė commits everything to the cause. But with violence and treachery surrounding him at every turn, the lines blur between the passion of his youth and the harsh reality of his survival.
