A mysterious letter leads a young mother to seek proof of the supernatural forces haunting her daughter. A struggling filmmaker is hired to capture video footage of the strange occurrences. Over the course of the investigation, the filmmaker is plagued by disturbing phenomena that build in frequency and danger. He learns of the home’s violent past and the influence of its darkest force: Emily. The spirits turn on the filmmaker and he is taken on a terrifying postmodern journey through the unknown and beyond comprehension.
