Saturday Night Live alumnus David Spade goes to comic extremes to woo a seemingly unattainable woman in this zany farce. To win her heart, Dylan kidnaps the woman's terrier with the plan that when he "finds" the missing pooch she will be grateful and agree to date him. But Dylan's scheme unravels almost immediately due to Lila's jealous former boyfriend, a missing anniversary ring, Neil Diamond, pink dessert swans and surly loan officers.
