This slice-of-life documentary follows a New Jersey-based elementary school teacher who spent his nights playing in a successful punk/ska band with his first ever music student. Now, many years later, after suffering a family tragedy, he’s finally retiring as an educator in hopes of taking a third bite of the apple. Emmy-winning filmmaker Neil Garguilo directs this story of perseverance, fatherhood, and mentorship following the lovable Jamie Egan (Catch 22 & Streetlight Manifesto) as he helps his family through a recent loss and attempts to get past insecurities about self-worth, personal shortcomings and the looming loneliness of an aging musician.
